After an enjoyable first year as sponsors, we’re proud to continue our support of two fantastic representatives of Southampton Football Club, strengthening our connection with the club, its supporters and the wider local community.
More Than Just a Sponsorship
Our partnership with Southampton FC provides Liberty Finance with year-round visibility through matchday programmes, the club website and big-screen advertising at St Mary’s Stadium.
Beyond the branding opportunities, the sponsorship gives us access to matchday hospitality and tickets, creating valuable opportunities to spend time with friends of Liberty and members of the team, as well as build relationships with fellow professionals in the local community and asset finance industry.
It’s a partnership that allows us to support our local club while creating memorable experiences away from the day-to-day world of finance.
Meeting the Players
One of the highlights of our first season as sponsors was the opportunity to visit Southampton FC’s Staplewood Training Ground and meet both Milly and Taylor in person.
The visit included a shirt-signing session and gave us the chance to learn more about their journeys, their ambitions for the future and the day-to-day commitment required to perform at the highest level.
Experiences like these bring the sponsorship to life and make us even prouder to support both players as they continue their careers with the club.
Looking Back on the 2025/26 Season
Taylor Harwood-Bellis once again played a key role at the heart of Southampton’s defence, bringing leadership, consistency and quality throughout the campaign. After narrowly missing out on promotion, despite spending much of the season competing near the top end of the table, there were plenty of positives for Saints supporters to take into the new season. Taylor remains an important figure as the club looks to push forward once again.
Meanwhile, Southampton FC Women continued to establish themselves as a competitive side in the second tier of the women’s game, with Milly Mott playing an important role in the squad. A consistent performer and popular figure among supporters, Milly’s commitment and professionalism have made her a key part of the club’s progress in recent years. She has previously been recognised by supporters as Southampton Women’s Fans’ Player of the Season.
Looking Ahead
As we enter another season together, we’re excited to continue supporting both players and following their progress throughout the campaign.
We wish Milly, Taylor and everyone at Southampton FC the very best for the season ahead and look forward to another year of memorable moments both on and off the pitch.
